Established in 2003, NACSAA has steadily grown for nearly nine years. Having developed a relationship with National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) from its inception, NACSAA joined NCPSAs membership in 2003 and gained full recognition as an accrediting member of NCPSA in 2008. In 2007 NACSAA Virginia Council for Private School Accreditation (VCPE) granted full recognition to NACSAA as an accrediting agency; NACSAA and VCPE continue a healthy relationship to the present.
NACSAA has established co-accreditation agreements with American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), North Carolina Christian School Assocation (NCCSA), and South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS. From its early years with only a handful of accredited institutions, NACSAA has steadily grown to its present membership. With the schools presently seeking membership or in the accreditation pipeline of the agency, NACSAA expects a bright future. Leadership envisions that the agency will double in size within the next two years.
In 2011, NACSAA made its first visit to overseas schools, culminating in two accredited schools in Seoul, South Korea. With a history that is brief and a future that is bright, NACSAA expects to enlarge is impact in the decade before us.
